Iran and World War 3 !

Most of us who have been studying the Middle East and South Asia, agree on one matter, the recipe for a World War has been brewing for a decade or so. The key components in the Middle East region are Iran, Syria, Israel, Saudi Arabia.
As I write this article, there are emergency drills in schools public buildings etc. in Israel, Syria and Iran. There is a sense of urgency in these countries, as if they are preparing for an attacks on their county.
The Iranian position have strengthen in the region, since the United States invaded Iraq, Iran sees itself as the regional superpower, Saddam Husain's eviction has been in favor of the Mullah's, who have been kept in check by the Saddam Husain and his Baath party, they were all Sunni Muslims. Since the US invasion of Iraq, the tide has turned in Iran's favor.
The present Shia government in Iraq has to show loyalty to the Mullah's in Iran, due to the Karbala and Najaf ties.
Iraq is sixty percent Shia in population, even though the Iraqi Shia's are mostly Arabs, they will support and back their Persian Shia brothers, if push came to shove. I recently published a book called the " Shia Crescent " Emergence of World War 3. Iran has formed an alliance with the local Shia populations and created proxies, like Hezbollah and even now Hamas who has been supported by the Iranian Mullah regime,in the recent months, and possibly years.
In the recent Palestinian elections Hamas won by a popular vote, this was a lot due to the support of Iranian backing and community support. So the title of my book " Shia Crescent " is extremely appropriate when we consider that Iran has formed an alliance with the local Shia populations, in order to dominate and control the region.
Now when we look at the Nuclear ambitions of Iran, we can see their struggle to acquire Nuclear technology is not for peaceful purposes. I would personally give Iran the benefit of doubt, if the Mullah's in Iran were not leading a cause. It has been abundantly clear to me as a researcher, that the regime's intention are to control and dominate the region. Since the revolution of 1979 the Mullah's have their eyes on Saudi Arabia. This is not hard to understand, if one understands the Shia mentality.
The Shia minority has never ruled in any way at all, religiously or politically ever since their movement came into existence. The Shia movement began over leadership, thirteen hundred years ago. Judging from their history, we can surmise, that the Mullah,s in Iran are not leading a nation they are leading a cause.
In my analysis Iran will take over the entire Middle East if left unchecked, this is inevitable. All the nations in the region are vulnerable specially Israel and Saudi Arabia. All the ingredients are present for a Third World War. So all it will take now is what I call a "Triggering Incident".
By definition a World War constitutes 20 or more nations involved on two or more continents. We can see when it comes to the Middle East and its natural resources there will be a lot more than twenty nations involved. On the one side United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Australia. The other side Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Yemen, Sudan. In my analysis, this is a realistic scenario.

Depression or Not! Not!

This is one of the deepest Recession's I have ever seen, I still stand my ground and say No! no Depression. Yes Big 3 almost going under, thousands people laid off, small businesses shutting down and big corporations filing Chapter 11.
These are all symptoms of an economy Deflating, nothing more. We are going to pull out of this Global recession and go back to normal within 6month to a year, we have seen 11 recessions in this country, each and every time it looked pretty grim, while we were in it.
At the beginning of next week, Bush is going to announce his plan for the Big three bailout, there is a few billions still available to them, I am sure of it. As soon as Big three is offered some help, the economy will rebound soon after President Obama takes office.
My prediction for next year, mid 2009 things back to normal, economically speaking.

Big 3 Waving hands goodbye! Shutting down all 30

I feel the Big 3 have been waiting and praying for this day! economy tank and we are out of here! the US.
Some sources say Big 3 unable to compete with Socialize Health care and Unions. So the economy taking a dive, could be a blessing in disguise to them. I see some layoffs in Mexico, Canada, and Europe, but nothing significant at all.
Personally I feel now, they would take our money and run! there would be no changes in the approach to manufacturing at all. These companies are never going to change their ways of doing business. I am sure they will continue to build gas guzzlers and cater to the Oil Cartels.
There is no guarantee they will turn around business wise and show technological progress as well. Why not as a nation we just focus on remainder of the economy and let them borrow money from the Arabs, after all the gas guzzlers were extremely profitable to them the (Arabs), and added to their Billions.

National Health Care is Coming!

Today President elect Barack Obama nominated his Health and Human Services Secretary, I feel is right for the job. This man has worked in Washington for a while now, and knows how to get things done!
What they need to do is come up with a National Health Care Plan that would solve this issue once and for all. We have many models to look at, the Canadian Model has been very successful so far, if not European models, are also effective, the French, German, British, we can take our pick. The issue is we need to take care of all people, not just the Rich and privileged, we are the only nation who have the most expensive Health Care system and the most unhealthy people.
I was watching a video on a lady returning from Japan, she was convinced that a Japanese Health Care system might work for us. All she could rant and rave about is that she only paid $5 for her doctor visit in Japan.
What we need to keep in mind, is that almost 50 million people without Health coverage is absolutely unacceptable and disgraceful to say the least. The most powerful nation in the world, but wont take care of our Citizens basic needs. This has to and must Change! We are Americans Not Somalis, lets take care of our own shall we......

Economy 101 (Economic Predictions)

The money that has already left the Market, will not be recovered. It will take at least 2 to 3 more years before new money start to flood the Wall street again. Most of these investors will not be able to stay away indefinitely. So the economy will get worse before it gets better. Housing market will start to rise earlier than Wall Street. Credit will start to become more available by end of 2009...........

500,000 Jobs Gone!

Final report is out, lost 500,000 job last month alone, this stage of deflation is always painful. Seems now things will get even more worse before they get better. I just hope the incoming Obama administration is able to stop the bleeding for now and stabilize the patient, in the immediate future we need a stimulus transfusion or something equivalent that to keep economy alive, and then they need go to work on sealing up the open economic wounds.
This would be a monstrous job for any administration. I do have confidence in the incoming administration, judging from the economic team he has assembled. In history the deflation periods have been extremely tough to say the least, but we always manage to recover from them.
In the past I have rarely used the word stimulus, considering half a million descent folks are running around looking for work, and worried about their next mortgages and car payments, if feel it is neccessary. I believe in taking care of our own.
I saw a bit on CNN a month ago on Wall Street guys partying in some Cigar lounge, laughing and joking that they are all happy and that nothing has affected them. I felt ashamed of these people on Wall Street behaving this way. I have nothing against someone doing good in life, I wish better luck to all of them, though it is not the time to drink Champagne and Smoke Cigars on national television when many good main street folks have lost their 20 year old jobs, homes, and their retirement are in jeopardy from bad executive decisions, It is UN AMERICAN! when 911 happened the whole country pulled together in support behind the victims and families, not just New Yorkers, and this in my opinion is an Economic 911. Wallstreet guys, show a little fake emotion, would ya!
I am very against bailouts of any kind, specially of these Corporate Giants that gave us Hummers and Suburbans and charged us $75,000. for a vehicle that cost $3500. in material and labor. They should be ashamed of themselves! for asking for a handout from the very people they stomped on all these years. Thinking of those thousands that could lose their livelihood, I say give them these loans with a hefty interest charge, and a share in these companies for the American Taxpayer. I guess we could call it CORPORATE WELFARE.............

Re: (IMMIGRATION) Not going away!

This issue will re explode on the scene, we need focus on the economy in the time being, as soon as the economy turns around, we must deal with this issue of Illegal Immigration. Like the Health Care issue this is just as important. We can all pretend that if we ignore this matter it might go away. In my opinion no chance for this, and the longer we wait the more numbers we have to deal with. Today 12 or 13 million next 5 to 10 years add another half a million a year. We are looking at estimates of another 5 million in 10 years time. The short term answer maybe Amnesty, but long term we need to work with Mexico to improve its infrastructure so we are able to keep Mexican national working it their region rather than migrate North for survival. I am more for working with Canada and Mexico, and improving their status, so we can relax our borders and not worry about how to feed millions of people, shifting back and forth between our North American region. In my opinion tighter border control, is not the answer for the future of this region, specially the United States.

Big 3 in Washington!

I feel most of these CEO's are there for their own jobs. They could careless about their workers. It was obvious when these elites flew to Washington in their 20 million dollar jets, the first time around. I think the Big 3 need to merge into Big 1. They are refusing to change their ways, and give us fuel efficient vehicles, the Big 3 are still stuck on Hummers and Suburbans. The first Hybrid by GM was an Escalade, isn't that missing the point all together. We need to be at a 50 Mpg standard by next 5 to 10 years max. but apparently this is not on the Big 3s agenda for the future. I feel nation should force them to work on mass transit projects, if they take tax payers money. These companies are heading either north of the border, or south, so they don't have to pay for health care for their workers. We need to create green jobs so that the workers being laid off by Big 3 can have secure futures. If the tax payers bail them out, they need to be held accountable for their future actions, or it is like throwing good money at bad.........

Recession or Depression!

Lately there is a lot of talk of The Great Depression in the media, this in my opinion is unlikely. This country has gone through 11 recessions and made it through them. We must realize, that this recession is global and not restricted to the US. We should bounce back in about two to three years time. I have spoken to individuals who lived through the Great Depression, and according to them, this is not anything close to it. The housing bubble along with the rising cost of energy, thanks to the speculators, has caused panic, and for the time being the economy looks to be on a glide slope, but I am certain we will turn around for this economic down trend. Lots of money has left the stock market, that money will not be recovered soon, it may take up to 3 years. I feel it has a lot to do with capital gains tax. Judging from all the indicators, I feel the market has seen its bottom and by early spring we should see some real gains. Oil today closed at $43 a barrel, this drop in oil price is expected due to the incoming Obama administration and their inevitable change in tax policies, no surprise there! realistic price of a barrel should be around $70-$80. There is another reason for this drop in price, Americans have a short memory and soon everyone will forget $5 gallon of gas and go back to rebuilding their lives again, and in time no one will be talking about hybrid cars, renewable fuels, solar, natural gas or green etc. Oil industry and OPEC are counting on this short memory. I hope everyone is determined to disappoint them, this time around. I feel we should make it Patriotic to advocate and act Green in this nation from this moment on, or the next energy crises could be many more times severe. We all need to wake up and smell the Fossil Fuel! If we really want to make a statement to OPEC all of us should ban ourselves from driving one less day a week. Cutting back on unnecessary expenditure is another Patriotic thing to do, what most of us don't seem to realize is, lots of the unnecessary junk we purchase is usually shiped via a semi-truck, it all goes back to OPEC. The Stock market is de-leveraging, we need to do the same, no more credit, at least till the economy turns around. We need to get back to old values and save as a lifestyle and not just once in a while. Little changes are required at this point, nothing we can't handle as a nation, make minor changes now or make huge corrections later. We need to push for Mass Transit in every state and ask the big 3 in Detroit to help us with mass transit, if they want us to bail them out with billions of taxpayer money. The big 3 are highly responsible for the energy crises we are facing now, their friendship with OPEC has cost us a great deal of anxiety. Giving big 3 money is throwing good money at bad, they have been lacking vision, and forsight, not to mention dragging behind foriegn car companies technologically, and refusing to change. It is unpatriotic in my opinion, to produce vehicles, that are harmful to the environment and cause us to become complacent. Awareness is key to our nations future.......
